Privacy · HopCut for iOS

PRIVACY,
WITHOUT THE FOG.

This policy explains what HopCut stores on your device, how Apple Game Center is used, and what we do not do with your information.

Effective date: September 17, 2026
Developer: Batuhan Devrim
App: HopCut for iOS

Quick summary

Most HopCut gameplay data is stored locally on your device. If you use Apple Game Center, leaderboard and player information is handled through Apple's Game Center service using Apple's GameKit framework.

1. Information stored locally on your device

HopCut uses local device storage to remember game state and preferences. Depending on the version of the app and the features you use, this may include:

  • best scores and daily/local score records;
  • gameplay progress and locally stored statistics;
  • selected character skin and visual theme;
  • sound and haptic feedback preferences;
  • whether the tutorial has been completed;
  • your in-game nickname;
  • local Daily Jump / leaderboard best values;
  • heart/life state and regeneration timing; and
  • other settings required for normal game functionality.

This information is used to make the game work and remember your choices. HopCut does not operate its own remote account database for this local game data.

2. Apple Game Center

HopCut may offer Apple Game Center features such as authentication and leaderboards. If you use those features, the app may access information made available by Apple through GameKit, such as your Game Center display name, Apple Game Center player identifier, player avatar, leaderboard score, leaderboard entries and ranking information.

HopCut may submit eligible scores to Apple Game Center and retrieve leaderboard results from Apple's servers. This data is processed by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policies. HopCut does not operate a separate developer-owned server that stores Game Center account credentials.

You can manage Game Center from your Apple device settings. Game Center availability and account controls are provided by Apple.

3. Tracking, analytics and advertising

At the effective date of this policy, HopCut:

  • does not include third-party advertising SDKs;
  • does not include third-party behavioral analytics SDKs;
  • does not use data for cross-app or cross-website tracking; and
  • does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for advertising tracking.

If a future version adds analytics, advertising or another service that changes these practices, this policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosures will be updated as appropriate.

4. Sale and sharing of personal information

HopCut does not sell your personal information. HopCut does not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers.

When you choose to use an Apple service such as Game Center, information necessary for that service is processed by Apple as described above.

5. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored game data generally remains on your device while the app is installed, unless it is cleared by the app, the operating system, or by deleting the app and its data. Game Center information is controlled through Apple's services and subject to Apple's retention practices and account controls.

6. Children's privacy

HopCut is a general-audience arcade game. HopCut does not operate its own registration system designed to collect personal information directly from children. Apple Game Center features, where available, are provided and controlled by Apple and may be subject to Apple account and family settings.

If you believe information has been handled in a way that raises a privacy concern, please contact us using the address below.

7. Security

HopCut is designed to keep ordinary gameplay information local where practical and relies on Apple's platform security for iOS and Game Center. No system can guarantee absolute security, but the app is designed to avoid unnecessary collection and transmission of personal information.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if HopCut's features, data practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
